I am so grateful for such a great place to live, but you'd think that we don't like it since we were off doing other things all summer! We traveled so much, but, that's what we like to do, see our fam and friends! We did discover a lot about Grand Junction and we worked a ton in our yard... We have fallin in love with it here... there is so much to do, we go hiking, fishing, mountain biking (well, Coby does, I don't dare after a couple wrecks I've had in the past, I'll just play the pregnancy card for now...) It's never crowded anywhere here, and the town always has some event going on!
Coby taught Keedon how to fish in Ouray, at Black Lake...
Keed could actually cast out 3-6 feet and reel it in, and he always had something on the end of the line (cuz we kept a plastic fish tied to the end!)
We went to Denver a lot of a few times...
(This pic is of the Jones Cousins...
We spent a lot of time with the Jones Family:
we went to a fam reunion in Black Hawk, CO, we had a welcome home party for Chase in Ouray, CO, where we fished and hiked and played in Telluride, CO... We partied at Coby's parents house in Morrison, CO a few times...we even had a Wicked Weedend together and saw the Broadway hit "Wicked" and Coby's mom made an awesome dinner and desert with that theme... let me tell you that desert was so wicked I couldn't stay away from it! She is so talented... and we realized that it's getting more and more fun to get together and let the cousins run free... They have so much fun together! Keedon and Tanner LOVE their cars, sometimes we've had to hide them so they don't get upset with each other... Quinton just follows Connor around trying to be just like him... Macey is still the leader of the boys, she even tries to make them watch Barbie movies! I wonder how long that will last! Connor is the example of the bunch, he is so polite... and it totally wore off on Keedon (thanks Connor!) Keed said polite stuff before pretty good, but now, he says sorry and thank you ALL THE TIME!
I hope these guys continue growing up to be best friends!
We did a bunch of fun things;
Keedon doesn't look like it, but he had so much fun on these bumper boats, he was giggling everytime we crashed into someone! This place was so fun! It had a train roller coaster that the boys liked and a swing ride that kept Keedon laughing the whole time! Later that day we took the kids to the park where we played with a big parachute Grams had gotten for them, how fun!
It's amazing how much these boys are growing... Keedon doesn't stop talking now, and I just love his little voice... He has also become quite the dare devil, he jumps off of everything, and tries to do flips at the same time!
Quinton is saying so many things, today he looked at me and said "I sucku" which isn't that he is a sucker, but that he wants one! It knocks me over sometimes when he talks so good!
Both of them can sense that another little bro is coming, they always pat my belly or kiss it...
They are going to be great big bros!
Notice that Keedon is in the water and Quinton is far away from it! Last year Keedon was the same way, but this year, he loves the water! and Quinton loves playing in the sand!
