Here's a pic of us up at the National Monument on the Window Rock trail... what a blast!
So, also this last weekend Coby took work off in order to spend time with us, that was my bday present from him, and let me tell you, that was the best gift I could've gotten! He bathed, changed, fed and ran after the boys for 4 days! And worked in the yard, helped in the house, cleaned up after meals.. and on my actual bday, I didn't have to do any of the daily work, wow, motherhood is so fun when that happens! He is so awesome! He also planned a bbq and invited a bunch of friends, I told him to call it the "end of the summer bbq", but, of course he didn't! It was so fun! We have some great friends that came to eat and play... Travis and Stephanie Hubbel, Melanie and her kids, Shannon and Adam and their girls, Jimmy, & Leia and their girls, Steve and Connie Kelly, and our friends Tyson and Kirsten wanted to come, but they were in Denver, so they brought us dinner instead... how nice! It was so fun to eat and hang out with everyone... I am lucky to have such great friends!Speaking of Superhero, that's our Keedon...
He puts red (they have to be red or he gets upset, as the Hubbels witnessed) pajama pants over his head (and face), socks on his hands, swim goggles on around his neck and a camelback on for
back pack, and he thinks he's spiderman!
When I go with him in public I can talk him down to the socks on his hands, but then I even talk him into taking them off, but before we leave the store or wherever, he has the socks back on his hands... sometimes I think I should just buy the spidey costume so other people know what he is dressing up as!
Yesterday was Coby's last day off for the week... he helped me with Quinton while I taught 'joyschool', we walked to a park and had a picnic and counted lizards with the boys and ate BLT's and played in the jumping gym and just had our first play day with just us. I have such a great husband... but actually, more than that, I have the best friend anyone could have. And he's so good looking, so, man I lucked out.
