It's a Boy!

We spent this last weekend in the hospital, but for me, lately, it was the best place to be! Mom and Dad Jones came out on Friday from Denver to stay with us, and Keedon and Quinton couldn't have been more thrilled!

After a couple weeks of random labor and about 8 hours of progressive hard labor our little baby boy was born! It was awesome because it was the first time for me that they were able to set him directly on my tummy after he was born... with Keedon and Quinton, they rushed them out of the room to the NICU because their heart rates were dropping, so I saw them after they were all clean and bundled up... But, this little guy was still all waxy and goopy, and he just looked like a dream! I have to admit, seeing him right after, not only brought a flood of happy tears and gasps, but I was like "holy cow, he's huge! that was inside my belly!" All the emotions

of the moment were so intense!

Grams and Poppy Jones came to visit us in the hospital with Keedon and Quinton the next morning... and as soon as they walked in the door, I was overwelmed (not only by Jones boys) but by how big they were all of a sudden! They sang and talked and laughed and were just so grown up to me!

They were both so excited to see their new little bro and he was such a trooper letting them poke at him and kiss him and even hold him!

After spending the afternoon doting over our new precious boy we decided to give him the name

Cambel Jones, just in time too, cuz they wouldn't let us leave the hospital without the name... guess they don't like nameless baby's wandering around Grand Junction! One of the cutest things about our little tough guy is his little birth mark on his right cheek... Keedon calls it his "tough mark"...

We are so thankful that this little guy is so healthy and has such a great spirit! Because he already needs to keep up with his brothers who are loving holding him and bundling him up and giving him his pacee, without the thought of softness running through their minds!

And we are so blessed to have Mom and Dad Jones here to help us take care of these boys and ourselves... Lee already found an outdoor project and also loves to hold little Cambel and Mom is keeping everything together and feeding us like royalty! I can't believe how much energy they have! Keed and Quint have had so much fun with them!
