Our Freedom holiday started Monday with our Family Home Evening focused on teaching the boys about the finer things of the Fourth of July such as: a weinie roast, smores over a fire and what else, a BBQ. We also touched on the rich blessings we enjoy in this country, and when we were done, the boys were so cute holding their hands on their hearts for the flag... (except Keedon kept saying... I hold my hand on my tummy)...
The rest of the week panned out with us enjoying the freedoms to work in our yard (a ton), planting shrubs, building landscape walls, washing the patio down and running through the sprinklers, and swimming in the pool!
We are so thankful for this country and the men and women who have fought and still pour their guts out fighting for it today.
PS: The big monster truck is a cool jumpy thing that our friends have... Keedon is getting in it in this pic, right after Quinton did, even though he was tiny for it! a monster truck one of course, it was the life of the kid party!
