So, our friend Robbie Fewkes gave us the great idea to put cheerios in the toilet for our boys to aim at when we potty trained them... Darcy (his wife) just reminded me of that trick, in our comments of the toilet post and it also reminded me of what happened when we tried it...
Keedon tried to aim, it was cute. The bowl of cheerios just got eaten by Quinton, and the ones that survived were dropped in the toilet by our observant Cambel, then fished out by his hands and eaten.
Not to mention, Keedon still couldn't get that first shot in the toilet to get the dumb cheerio!

Brandy i'm laughing my butt off because we did cheerios with cole too! it didn't last long after i found him eating them out of the toilet bowl. Why wouldn't they fish them out, can't waste a good cheerio!
Sounds like a party in the bathroom! That's fun! I miss not being able to run over to your house and get in on the action! We miss you guys!
the joy of boys! I taught my kids to sit. Seriously, it is so much better. I can always tell when friends are here because there is pee all over. But when it's just my kids-no pee - I only have to clean the toilets once a week.
Austin, especially, was too short to aim well. He would have had to stand on a step stool - maybe you should try that. The toilet is kind of tall for a little guy to aim into. I don't know, or have them sit. It works for me {unless we're at a gas station or truck stop - then we ALL stand :)}
Cheerios are just good fun no matter what you do with them, even soggy eh?!? I wish I could get Jake to atleast try to aim for them! Good luck! These crazy days will be the ones you remember the most with the most smiles! Love you all!!!!

Holy cow! It's been forever! (at least 13 years!) Lisa Pack stumbled across your blog and shared it with me! It's so wonderful to see your gorgeous family. Looks like you are doing great. I'm living in Seattle, my husband, Jayson, works for Microsoft on the xbox team. We have some kids, too. You can check out our blog: wayoutnumbered.blogspot.com
It's great to "see" you again. I'd love to hear how you are.
